What a minefield it is bringing a puppy home nowadays - so many opinions, so many right and wrong ways to raise them according to social media. Pleaaasee always work with a qualified professional when attending puppy classes or training sessions to set you both up for success ✅

Prioritising a dogs well-being whilst improving a guardians’ confidence so we can positively change the dogs behaviour together for the better are exactly the kind of things I aim for with every client I work with and this review I received today sums this up. I’m back from leave and will reply to messages and enquiries in the next day or so ☺️ For now…here is a little snippet of what the doggies got up to! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

1. Lily pad heaven 🪷
2. Settling like pros on the beach whilst we changed an emergency nappy 💩

I’m now on leave until 15 June. I won’t be answering messages or replying to clients during this time. Running a business is a 24/7 operation and I very rarely switch off so these few days are dedicated family time for my little boys first holiday (doggies included!) 🥰⛰️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

🎉🥳 FINALLY, after over 2 years of studying I can officially say i’m a qualified Level 5 Canine Behaviour Practitioner, with an average mark of 88% over 12 modules 🎉🥳

I’m so proud of this achievement, I’ve worked my bum off and with puppies and newborns joining us along the way I thought I might never finish. But we got there in the end! Here’s to many more years of supporting guardians and their dogs 🐶🥂

This little guy might be the smallest dog I’ve worked with! Just over 1kg of puppy cuteness 🥲

I’ll be helping his guardian set him up for the best start, with his size it’s really important we advocate for him and not overwhelm him as the world looks pretty huge from where he’s sitting! At the same time we want to tread a fine line with letting him explore, grow his confidence and safely socialise him 🐶

A very rare picture of me ‘at work’ with lovely, bouncy pup Merlin! 😃

Sometimes it helps to demo to guardians what we’re aiming for to show them it is possible, even with their dog. There’s lots of mechanics to training dogs…reward placement, holding the lead, where your body is, where the dog is, it’s second nature to me now but if you haven’t done it before there’s so much to think about and it can be overwhelming! The dogs always pick it up quickly though 🙊
