Look at this beauty!!

A member of the public saw this little lady struggling up on the nature reserve in Barton today so gave us a call. Vet Sarah and Practice Manager Louise popped out to collect her. She’s had a thorough check over and is now being transferred to a rehabilitation facility in preparation to be rereleased when she’s back to her normal self.

It’s such a pleasure to be able to help these beautiful creatures!

As pets get older, some changes can develop gradually and may not always be obvious at home.

HealthCheck360 for Mature Pets takes a closer look at their health, with an experienced veterinary nurse assessing areas including mobility, lifestyle, and physical health.

It also includes urine analysis and blood screening, with lymphoma cancer screening for at-risk breeds. Blood pressure testing may also be carried out for cats where needed.

These additional checks can help build a fuller picture of your pet’s health as their needs change.

For dogs over 5 years old and cats aged 7 years and over.

What miserable weather?! ☔️

Here’s some photos of beautiful ‘Parsnip’ showing off our lovely new cat kennels.

All our feline patients love the quiet, calm and spacious new cattery….. as do our lovely nurses! Classical music playing, rain tapping away on the skylights, not a dog within sniffing distance…. Perfect!
