We are now offering afternoon group walks🐾🥳

Morning groups have been full for a few months, and after a huge volume of recent enquiries. Myself and Haydn have decided to start an afternoon walk!

These will eventually only be ran by Haydn, but for the next few months I’ll be following along with all the new dogs that join to ensure everything is being ran smoothly🐶

Haydn has been shadowing group walks, training sessions along with helping with residentials since last year. After his dog, Stan, unfortunately passed away last year😢getting out and about and meeting everyone’s dogs has been a huge help for him!

As always, dogs are carefully paired to suit each other & walks are structured. We always make sure to practice lots of recall drills & sit/down stays throughout the walk, while also letting them run wild, burn energy and have plenty of fun🥰

Must haves:
• Good recall
• Good lead manners
• Good with other dogs 🐕

Eric’s 4 week residential from Feb - March 🤩🐾

Eric came to me at the beginning of this year for work on; settling in the house, jumping up at guests & on the counters, pulling on lead and recall. He was absolutely obsessed with other dogs and any chance he could he’d be off to see them.

During his stay, we worked on his off switch and general manners in the house, lead manners (heel & loose lead), recall & the ability to make his own good choices around dogs/distractions.

A big part for me when training is getting to the point where the dog can choose what decision they want to make without relying on obedience constantly, but instead having it there to fall back on when required.

Group Classes are making a comeback!

Suitable for reactive/ex reactive dogs.

This is a neutrality based class working on socialisation & exposure.

Current/past clients only.

Wednesday evenings at least once a month over summer at 5:30pm.

We will be taking these different places this time around so we can get some practice in everywhere🥰

Residential Training: Availability from September

Thank you for keeping me so busy! I’m in the process of finding a booking app/website that has everything I need, I’ll make an updated post once that’s up and running so you can book assessments & lessons in without having to message me and wait for a response!

Eric is checking in for his 4 week residential stay!

We have a lot to work on, including:

• Lead manners
• Recall
• Neutrality to dogs & people, as well as learning how to safely interact with dogs & people and not be rude
• Settling & regulating his emotions
• Impulse control
• “Leave” command

Same Values. Same Passion. Just a bigger vision👀

What started out as just 1-2-1 lessons and training walks, has expanded into a list of services to better support owners & their dogs!

There will be a list of services we *currently* offer to come over the next few weeks (I also need to update the website🙈)

I have some big dreams for this business, and a lot of new services will be coming over the next couple years (possibly a lot sooner🫣🤞)

Thank you to every single client who’s trusted me with their dogs so far, none of this would be possible without you💞🐾. I opened this business July 2023, and this is still just the beginning🤩

Force-free training isn’t for dogs, it’s for humans.
Avoiding consequence, saying no & shielding dogs from any stress - makes owners feel kind, ethical & comfortable.
Meanwhile, the dog is left confused & unprepared for real life.
Dogs don’t need ideology. They need clarity.
Refusing to tell a dog when they’re wrong doesn’t make you kind.
It makes you unclear.
Dogs don’t live in a bubble of rehearsed setups & cheese rewards. They live in the real world. & the real world includes being told that certain behaviours are not acceptable.
Force-free training is a self-serving ideology that pampers human egos, avoids accountability & leaves dogs to suffer the consequences of weak, feel-good guidance 👌.
