Off lead dogs! Here's something I keep hearing and seeing more and more often and it unfortunately can cause more problems for lots of dogs. Even though your dog is friendly, approaching another dog without control or consent can lead to the other dog becoming anxious, reactive or aggressive. This could cause an easily preventable accident, injury, or set a dogs training back. If you're walking your dog off lead and see another dog on a lead or being put on a lead, please as a common courtesy put yours on lead to walk past!

These lovely boys are Jasper and Toby! I went to see them about some behavioural concerns in the home, especially towards Jasper’s feelings towards going in his crate. After discussing through and seeing the issue, a few changes to their routine were advised and a noticeable difference was noticed after a few adustments. Look at how sweet they are! 😍🐶

The recycling retriever! Fred has gotten into the habit of picking up plastic bottles on our morning walks and bringing them home where they go in the recycling bin. As a retriever he has got quite the drive to retrieve items, so allowing him to fulfil this need can exercise that built in drive. Different breeds have different drives and if some needs aren't met this can lead to frustration or destructive behaviours coming through.
