💚 A little life update, & some big changes coming to Dukes Doghouse 💚

After a house move 🏡 to outside of Barrow, an incredibly long, hot summer 🌞 & with skyrocketing petrol prices 🚙, the time has come to implement some changes that have been months in the planning. 🤫

From Monday 7th September 2026:

○ My pricing will be restructured. 📈

○ I will no longer be working Fridays, or Bank Holiday Mondays. ❌️

○ Adventure Walks will return on selected weekends! 🏞🐕🥾

Whilst I do not wish to alienate any of my wonderful clients, I've had to make these changes in order for the future of Dukes Doghouse to remain sustainable.

I'm incredibly grateful to have such loyal and supportive clients, many of whom have been with us since day one. I hope you can appreciate this is not a decision that has been taken lightly.

But I'd like for my little Dukes Doghouse family to be able to stick around for years to come!

○ Update to Terms & Conditions ○

Hi everyone 👋 just a little update, whilst I appreciate that heatwaves are outside of anyone's control, unfortunately, this summer has been completely unsustainable.

With hot summers becoming more likely, I need to make some changes in order to better protect my income during the warmer months going forward.

I will therefore be making the following changes to my cancellation policy, effective immediately:

○ When rolling payment forward, clients will now be asked to swap their cancelled walk to a different day, rather than using the payment to cover the next walk.

○ Payments may only be rolled forward once. If the next walk is cancelled the payment will not be refunded. (This does NOT apply to walks being cancelled because of the weather).

○ Payments rolled forward MUST be used within the same month. Payments will not be rolled over to the next month.

💛 For any walks that are currently owed, I will allow a grace period from now until Monday 7th September for them to be used up.

💛 Any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
