Ben Walker BVSc MRCVS opened Walker Green Vets on 26th September 2011. Ben has been qualified for 22 years and has worked at practices in London, Hong Kong and Cheshire. The practice was purpose built and Ben's vision was to provide high standards of both patient healthcare and customer care. We currently have two vets, Ben and Luke Ainsworth who has been qualified 10 years. We have two nurses, Em

ma Greene RVN and Claire Coulthard RVN. A practice manager, Karen Liebert and two receptionists Stacey Neal and Alicia Lisgo. We operate an appointment system which enables clients to have 15 minute consultations with the vet. We also have nurse appointments offering nail clips, weight clinics, puppy checks etc
We have a well equipped sterile operating theatre, digital x-ray system and an in-house laboratory which means the majority of samples can be processed immediately. There is ample parking with our own car park and street parking. We have separate waiting areas for dogs and cats to reduce stress in the waiting room. We are very proud of the practice and the service we provide. We welcome new clients and are happy to show you around our facilities.

This little cutie was in yesterday for a routine spay surgery and spent most of the day trying to get her mittens on anyone walking past. We gave in quite quickly! It was hard not to give her attention 🥰 see you at your post op check Maggie 🐾

Presenting Big Toe… as you may have noticed this special little Maine C**n kitten is a polydactyl which means he has an extra toe on each of his little paws! 🐾

Fun fact! Back in the day polydactyl cats were really popular among sailors. Because of their large, wide paws, polydactyl cats made excellent mousers and could keep the ship’s supplies vermin-free, plus their paws helped them balance on rocky seas.

Everyone meet Maggie! Newest member to the Walker Green Staff Pet family. Maggie’s start in life wasn’t the easiest, she was rescued from the streets as a stray and unfortunately ended up needing a front leg amputation. But let me tell you that hasn’t stopped her at all 😁 she bounced right back and after a short while of being fostered she has now officially been adopted by our receptionist Ruby. Onwards and upwards from here little Maggie! 🐾 💚
