It's that time of year again where acorns will going to be flooding the floors and could become tempting to your dog. It's important to remember the dangers of acorns when they become ingested ⚠️

☀️🐾 Hot Weather Pet Safety Reminder 🐾☀️

With temperatures climbing this week, please take extra care when your pets are outdoors.
🔥 Pavement can burn paws – if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their feet.
💧 Keep fresh water available at all times – dehydration can happen quickly.
🏠 Avoid midday walks – stick to early mornings or evenings.
🚗 Never leave pets in cars – even for a minute.

Signs of heatstroke to watch for:
🐶 Excessive panting
🐱 Lethargy or weakness
🤢 Vomiting
If you notice these signs, contact us immediately.

Keep them cool, keep them safe, and let’s all enjoy the sunshine responsibly! 🌞🐕🐈
