Our lovely young horses had a busy 'glow up' day yesterday learning about plaiting, wash bay, standing square and posing! 🤣 Then they got to have lots of fun loose jumping in the arena! Aren't they gorgeous?!

In photo order we have Gigi & Odin the overheight 4yr old connemaras who are being backed at present. Then we have Harris (5) and Miss Bixi (4) showjumping bred sporthorses who are backed and riding away learning about life.

I decided to throw myself into some further professional development this year to keep me motivated following a myriad of disasters and personal losses. Its been tough sitting this season out but it's allowed me to pursue some other equestrian interests and push my knowledge and coaching to new limits.

I have recently received news that I have passed/achieved my BHS COACHING4ALL assessment with some lovely comments and feedback. It has elevated my awareness of what adaptive, confidence building, interactive, accessible, inspirational and empowering coaching can be and I've taken lots from it from a personal perspective. Thanks to all my case study clients and friends who supported me with this.

I'm also now also about half way through an OCN (GUL) diploma in Equine Assisted Services which has opened my eyes to a whole new world and community of people - I'm loving it and cannot wait to get started officially- keep your eyes peeled for further updates in the coming months! I'm looking forward to an upcoming trip to a very special Equine & Outdoor Therapy centre where I'm sure I'm going to learn lots more!

Its been hard work and a juggling act but as they say the juice is worth the squeeze!

Just a reminder to anyone that doesn't know - I am based at Easter Mains Livery Yard and mainly provide my services from here alongside teaching every Tuesday at STRATHORN FARM STABLES. If I can be of any assistance at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch. I do often have weekday spaces but remain full for after school & evening spaces. I do monthly Saturday sessions from my base at EMK also.

💙 CONNEMARAS 💙

Is anyone looking for 14.2hh -15.2hh connemaras as I may have a few 4/5yr olds coming in to sell over the next month or so. All backed, hacked and going but young/green. Further production available with many references available from current/past owners over the last 20 years of riding & competing connies! 🦄💙

With the current market proving extremely competitive & expensive for these types I figured not everyone has a 20k/Five Figure budget for nice allrounder/PC/RC/grassroots eventing types so I'm happy to help source and produce these wonderful ponies as sensibly priced as possible without compromising on quality. I'm love working with these wonderfully versatile ponies through all their 'first experiences' and believe it is key to instill consistency and confidence in their training. This then gives them a great start towards a successful ridden career, whether that's as a pony club pony, eventer, a mother/daughters dream, WHP or simply a best friend to hack through life with.

I've spent a large part of this year helping to source horses & ponies for clients or preparing ponies for sale on behalf of clients so in addition to my coaching/riding, I thought I would make this service 'official'!

12-13.2hh SAFE first pony, must be off LR and tick tock type, more of woah than go, cob or cob x type preferred. Wonderful home waiting and upto high 4 figure budget for the right pony. No youngsters or green ponies and child still learning to balance in canter so needs steady, kind, rhythmical pony to have fun on and care for. Wanted to see if anything local before they travel further afield. Would consider LWVTB.

Someone must have an older pony or a child about to outgrow and moving up....

🐎16-17hh allrounder gelding for riding club fun- must be honest to a fence and have a lovely temperament. Top home with empathetic lady rider who can offer forever home. Budget £mid 4 figures, open to something older and sensible RE: vet history/management etc.

🐎14.2-15.3hh ladies DR/allrounder mare or gelding, age 6+ and must have quality enough paces for BD but sane enough to hack after a few days off and take to poles lessons by small lady rider. A connemara type or connie x type possibly preferred. Decent budget for right pony £5 figures - would also consider 14.2+ native x working at Elementary/medium level BD

🐎13hh cob/native x type mother daughter share, again mare or gelding & tenperament is key. Age/looks unimportant if pony is save and straightforward. Low budget due to injury or their other horse or would consider consider loan also.

2000 Iveco Cargo Coachbuilt Horsebox with Living

The most reliable awesome lorry I've loved for the last 6 years and I will honestly struggle to see it go! Its been up and down the country - taking me & my crew everywhere!

Low mileage for age (approx 106k miles) 7.5t Iveco horse lorry, decent payload of 1.9t, living with gas hob, toilet/shower, hook up, 2 double beds ,fridge, LOADS of storage and although older and cosmetically not perfect it really has been perfect for me! Can be stalled for 2 or 3 and multiple skirt & tack lockers. No expense spared on this lorry including new aluminium floor and matting a few years ago with reinforced GRP side & gel neoprene. New tyres 2022, new battery 2023 and complete new roof replacement 2024. Economical to run. Fully serviced and plated until April 2026 with no advisories.

REDUCED TO £6000 ONO TO SELL and its a complete bargain at that! Brilliant lorry! No sensible offers refused as I sadly no longer have an event/competition horse and have also picked up an injury. Must go ASAP.

Happy hacker/Nanny/Companion

Is anyone looking for a lovely pony that would be suitable for light hacking/companion/nanny duties, maybe even Trec or something - straightforward with no quirks or management issues. Can be left alone and can easily be handled/groomed by kids and led round with kids on, LR walks etc.

Due to unforseen (and pretty sad) circumstances I have availability for an extra competition, schooling, sales or youngster starting/backing livery from mid June.

I'm a BHS Accredited Professional Coach with my Stage 4 Yard Manager qualification and over 20 years experience backing, producing and competing horses in a variety of disciplines including international eventing. I'm delighted to work with anything from kids ponies (also have a small jockey available) to event horses, ex racehorses, cool cobs, Highland ponies, performance horses, show horses, pony club allrounders or young/green horses. We offer excellent facilities with attention to detail and a 360 approach to horse care, welfare & education.
