Velvet Paw Grooming had a very special guest come for a spaw treatment! Meet Mr. Beans 🐷 not your typical dog spaw client! Yet this adorable pot belly pig stole our hearts 💙. He was gracious, spectacular, and had the cutest little piggy face and tail. He was a pleasure to groom and we look forward to having our little (actually very large) friend come back for his next treatment!
Special thanks to his Mom, Mona, for allowing us the opportunity to pamper her baby!!

Master Groom Canada 2026! 🐾🩵

What an incredible weekend of learning, growth, and inspiration! Thank you for this amazing opportunity to expand our knowledge, sharpen our skills, and deepen our passion for the art of dog grooming.

From outstanding education and exciting competition to reconnecting with like-minded friends, every moment was filled with inspiration. We also discovered so many hidden gems—from innovative tools and products to techniques we can’t wait to put into practice.

Now it’s time to head home and bring everything we’ve learned back to Yorkton and the surrounding communities. We can’t wait to continue pampering our adorable canine clientele with new skills, fresh ideas, and even more love.

A sweet travel gift from my BFF for all my grooming BFFs. 🩵

We’re getting so excited for our girl’s roadtrip to Mastergroom Canada, our Grooming Lounge will be closed from July 23-27! We’ll be back Tuesday, July 28th - refreshed, hopefully wiser and ready to pamper up more pups! 💁‍♀️🐶✨
Chelsey, Olha and I can hardly wait to check out all the latest flashy new products and equipment, we’ll be very busy attending educational seminars and watching grooming competitions - learning more tips and tricks from some of the best in the industry. As the pet grooming industry is booming and evolving literally by the month, we feel it’s very important to stay on top of education, trends, products and equipment to bring your dogs the very best care we can provide them! 🥰🐶
