Vitality Veterinary Services is in search of a mixed animal veterinarian to join our team in Yorkton, SK. This will be a full-time position in a brand new mixed animal clinic. Our practice is equipped with IDEXX blood machines, ultrasound, digital and dental radiography, and more; a comprehensive pharmacy; and an expansive area for bovine and equine handling facilities including a maternity chute, a hydraulic squeeze chute, and equine stocks. Services offered include routine preventative care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, radiology, and at-home euthanasia.

We foster a fun, respectful, and supportive work environment, and are passionate about providing a high standard of medicine. We’re looking for a DVM with experience with both large and small animals, exceptional communication skills, established technical skills, a hunger to learn, and the ability to go-with-the flow. Our practice is 99% paperless so basic computer and veterinary software knowledge is beneficial. Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is an asset, but new graduates are welcome to apply, and mentorship is available.

After a long process, we can now announce that we will be moving to our NEW CLINIC next week! This means we will be closed for a few days in order to get everything moved and set up.

We are excited to see you in our new space with more room and more services!

Come see us at our new location, at the corner of highway #9 North and the airport turnoff (3.6km north of SGI). We plan to resume services after the August long weekend.

*Looking for a Veterinary Medical Assistant*

Vitality Veterinary Services is in search of a full-time Veterinary Medical Assistant to join our growing team. The position will be in a brand-new mixed animal clinic in Yorkton, SK. We currently staff two DVMs, 2 RVTs and 1 receptionist. Services offered include mixed animal routine preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, radiology, and in-home euthanasia.

Duties involve both reception and back-end support, including animal restraint, preparation of surgery packs, maintenance of equipment, sample packaging, exercising animals, cleaning kennels, answering phones, scheduling appointments, monitoring email, checking patients in and out, invoicing, inventory, etc.

The successful candidate must have exceptional communication skills, the ability to pay close attention to detail, and self-motivation. A Veterinary Medical Assistant certificate and previous experience in a veterinary clinic are assets but not required.

Vitality Veterinary Services is in search of an RVT to join our team. We currently staff 2 DVMs, 2 RVTs, and one receptionist. Our brand-new mixed animal clinic is equipped with an in-house laboratory (IDEXX), x-ray, ultrasound, indoor large animal handling facilities (bovine and equine), and a pharmacy. Services offered include mixed animal routine preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, and at-home euthanasia.

We foster a fun, respectful, and supportive work environment, and are passionate about providing an appropriate work-life balance.

We recognize the full skill set of an RVT, and feel it is important to allow as many of those skills to be utilized as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for anesthesia induction and surgical monitoring, dental cleanings, radiology, patient care, technician-related appointments, venipuncture, cytology, etc.; shared duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, inventory management, client education in person and over the phone, and other reception related tasks.

We are looking for a compassionate RVT with exceptional communication skills, established technical skills, a hunger to learn, and the ability to go-with-the flow. Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is an asset, but new graduates are also welcomed to apply.
