Let them be, I have observed this in my own back yard many years. If you leave them alone they will thrive. Just would be good to keep your cats indoors . It’s the time of year now and going into summer. The great escape of baby birds who become fledglings. Fledglings cannot fly at first. For about a week or so they are running all over the place while mom controls feed and find them. It may look like a random baby in need but they are not most of the time. Please leave them alone. Please teach the kiddos to leave them alone. In the wild with their mom and siblings, they are flying and figuring life out in 5-10 days tops. When they get kidnapped (cause that what it is when you pick them up) it takes weeks to get them wild and free. Please share this as it’s so important. Fledglings are NOT needing to be rescued.
