We love catching up with our alumni 🥰.
"The end of June marked Milo's 2nd adoptiversary! And while it feels like he’s always been part of our lives, it also seems like it was just yesterday we came to pick him up. He only spent a few days at the WHS, and not much was known about his previous life.
From the get-go he was the sweetest bundle of love. He settled in with us really quickly, but still we have seen him bloom into his full doggie personality in the months after adopting him.
He loves to take his mom for runs, run around in the park, run after toys and subsequently de-stuff said toys. Saying he’s full of energy is an understatement, but it’s balanced out with unlimited cuddles and belly rubs.
Meeting people is his absolute favourite thing to do, and he will flash his big smile and try to get pets any chance he gets. He has recently made a whole batch of new friends at our local Michaels, and after our weekly visits he has basically become their unofficial mascot.
As much as he loves humans, he does not love other dogs. Thankfully the Reactive Rover classes have definitely taught us how to better support him with his triggers. But most of the time he’s just the happiest little boy.
Thank you so much for taking such great care of your animals, and for bringing Milo into our lives. He makes every day so much better."
