Rescue Siamese A not-for-profit, no-kill animal rescue for Siamese crossed cats in Manitoba. Rescue Siamese is a "no kill" rescue. Friday: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Rescue is a non-profit, feline rescue that operates as a shelter with a strong foster program component, whereby animals are taken into foster homes, vetted and assessed for temperament and later put up for adoption at our shelter. Siamese crossed cats are accepted directly from owners, as strays or as transfers from another shelter or organization. Rescue Siamese is set up to give preference to t

he Siamese and Oriental breeds, and will also take in the domestic partners of "bonded" pairs. Oriental breeds may include Oriental Short Hair, Himalayan, Exotic Short Hair, Snowshoe, Birman, Balinese -most cats that have blue eyes and colour points. Hours of Operation:

Monday: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Tues and Wed: closed
Thursday: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Urgent: We desperately need donations of wet and dry food!

In addition to our full roster of adult and senior cats in care, and permanent fosters - we are absolutely swimming in kittens! This means we are going through our stocks of wet and dry food incredibly quickly, and we need steady donations of food so that we can keep up. We are especially in need of kitten wet and dry food on an ongoing basis right now, as we have kittens of all ages from infant to adolescent who need lots of food to grow up healthy! Their mom cats need the higher calorie kitten food as well so that their bodies can keep up with all that nursing.

Please help if you can! Any donations of adult and kitten wet/dry food would help us so much! You can come by to visit us anytime during open hours to meet the adoptable cats and drop off food donations. If you can’t make it to the shelter but would like to donate, please send us a message or email [email protected] and we’ll arrange to pick up!

We will also be holding a supply drive at our Fall Open House on Sunday September 28th, where anyone who brings food/litter donations will be entered to win a special prize. Whenever and however you choose to donate, we are so grateful for your help to keep these hungry kitty’s bellies full.

The kittens and mums shown here are new to foster care and are not yet available, but please take a look at our adoptables photo album if you’re thinking of adding a new family member to your household! There are lots of sweethearts in our care of all ages, from young kittens to seniors who are hoping you’ll take them home soon 💖

Do you have boxes of books that you’ve already read, or vintage/unworn jewelry that you never wear? Instead of letting them sit and collect dust, let us take them off your hands! We are having a used book sale at our Fall Open House on Sunday September 28th from 11:30am-3:30pm, and we are looking for new or secondhand books in good condition to help raise money for the rescue. (Please no cookbooks, encyclopedias, comics etc - novels and childrens books are great!) We will also be selling some gently loved treasures at our vintage jewelry table, and would love to add some more pretty accessories to our stock!

Happy Tails Wren!

Wren has quickly become best friends with RS alum Sterling, who was adopted in December 2024. She settled into her forever home with ease, and the two love nothing more than their favorite “chase–capture–release” game. Springs and balls are their toys of choice, and they can often be found playing together.

Wren also enjoys spending time with the family dog and even loves watching cat and dog videos. Her outside time on her harness is another favourite time where she’ll happily stretch out and soak up the sunshine.

Her days are filled with play, cuddles and plenty of love, making her life truly complete. Wren is deeply loved and cherished, and she’s truly the perfect fit for her home!

Soul and his brother Snip were born outside to a stray mom before being rescued as young kittens. Soul is a gentle boy who loves to spend his days sitting in the window, soaking up the sunshine, and watching the world go by. He enjoys being close to his foster, though he’s not quite the lap cat his brother is.

Playtime is one of Soul’s favorite times! He loves all kinds of toys and has a playful, curious nature. He gets along well with the other cats in his foster home, always respectful of their space while hoping to be friends. Because of this, it would be wonderful if Soul and Snip could be adopted together. If not, Soul would be happiest in a home with another friendly cat for companionship.

Souls haven’t spent time with dogs or children yet. He does have a habit of chewing on paper, books, so his new family should keep that in mind.

With his sweet personality, sunny spirit, and playful ways, Soul is ready to brighten the days of his forever family

Snip and his sibling Soul were born outside to a stray mom before being rescued as young kittens. Snip got his name because when he came into cate his whiskers were shorter and looked to have been snipped off.

Snip is a chatty little guy who loves to “talk” and isn’t shy about letting you know what’s on his mind. He’s sweet, cuddly, and affectionate, often curling up to sleep right next to his foster mom.

This playful boy adores all kinds of toys and is full of kitten energy. He also loves the other cats in his foster home and is eager to be everyone’s best friend.

Because of this, it would be wonderful if Snip and Soul could be adopted together. If not, Snip would be happiest in a home with another friendly cat to keep him company.

Snip hasn’t spent time around dogs or children yet. With his big personality and even bigger heart, Snip is sure to fill his forever home with endless love, purrs, and chatter.

Today’s the day!! Tucker, pictured here, is the cutie pie winner of Devil May Care Brewing Company’s contest last year, where they raised over $9000 for Veterinarians Without Borders! Now he’s got his handsome mug on the label of “Tucky’s Teefs” Dark Lager, which will do even more good for animals in need with a portion of proceeds supporting us at Rescue Siamese ❤️ We’ll be there today for the launch party starting at 4pm with adoptable kittens and some tasty baking for sale to enjoy with your beer! We’ll also have a bin for food/litter donations and will be accepting empty beer cans for our can drive. Get your friends and family together and come have a couple beers for a good cause! 🍻😻
