Meet Gigi!!

Gigi is a 6-year-old sweetheart with a heart full of love. She absolutely adores being around her people and will happily become your shadow, following you around from room to room.

This lovely girl thrives on connection, whether it’s snuggling up on the couch or heading out for one of her favorite activities: walks! She does well on a leash, but would benefit from some more practice especially in new environments like dog parks. Gigi also has a playful side and can’t resist a good (and vocal!) game of tug-of-war, making her a fun and engaging companion.

Gigi gets along with other dogs once she gets used to them and is great with kids, making her a fantastic addition to a family home. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, so slow introductions would be recommended if necessary.

Gigi does periodically struggle with feelings of anxiety which can lead to accidents in the house while acclimating. She would therefore do best in a home that is patient and understanding of her need for a routine. Gigi is looking for a family that can help her feel safe and supported as she settles in.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving family dog or companion who will fill your home with endless amounts of kisses and warmth, Gigi might just be your perfect match.

This dog is looking for her forever home! She is currently living in BC. A fellow rescue friend is going out there at the end of February and could bring her back to MB if anyone was interested in her.

COURTESY POSTING!

We are helping Fiona's family find a new forever home for her by doing a courtesy posting! This is not easy for them to do, but they know that this is the right thing to do for Fiona and their family and we want to help find that perfect home!

Fiona is a French Bulldog/Pug mix. Fiona will be 5 years old on February 12, 2026. She was spayed today (November 24th) and had all her vaccines updated as well!

This sweet girl originally came from a situation where she was neglected and abused. Thankfully her current family was able to rescue her from the horrible place and give her the love and care she needed.

Unfortunately, Fiona would do best in a home without younger children (under the age of 10). The loud noises and sudden movements of toddlers scares Fiona and she becomes overwhelmed and overstimulated. We are taking this very seriously and want to find the best home for her.

Fiona is kennel trained, knows basic commands, walks both on and off leash, and does well with other dogs and caged small animals.
We are unsure how she is with cats, as she hasn’t had much exposure to them.

She is incredibly affectionate and happiest when she is cuddled up beside you or tucked into bed waiting for you to join her.

Fiona's family will be sending her with her kennel if it's needed as well as a large bag of her food.

If you are interested in meeting Fiona, our rescue will be screening all potential families through our adoption application. We will be collecting the adoption applications and submitting the ones we feel are the best fit to Fiona's family for them to select and set up a meet and greet so they can make the final decision where Fiona ends up.

Fiona's family only wants the absolute best for her and they want to ensure she is set up for success!
