Two c**ts looking for new homes this year, both registered ApHC appaloosas, but neither has characteristics (yet). One is a palomino, the other a bay silver. The bay silver is 6 panel clear by pedigree, the palomino has one parent a Gbed carrier, other 5 panel clear, no danger there as Gbed is a recessive gene and carriers don't present symptoms. Both cow bred lines. The leopard stallion and palomino mare are the parents of the palomino c**t. He is starting to shed his baby coat and I think will be a golden palomino like his dam. The chestnut mare and silver bay stallion are the parents of the bay silver c**t. He'll end up the colour of his sire.

Just one foal left this year, this is LSC Sereno. He is a chestnut near leopard that carries the silver gene. I am seeing that the silver gene seems to add a metallic shine to red based coats. Annual fall Production and Reduction. I am letting three pregnant mares, bred appy, and the last two c**ts go. Mares are being replaced by their daughters or they wouldn't be going, I can't keep them all. Dark bay quarterhorse mare, black appaloosa mare, Welsh bay mare, all registered. Silver bay ApHC appy c**t, may get characteristics, silver bay appy/Welsh part Welsh registry. PM for more details.

Some more photos of my two black ApHC mares. LSC Lechuga and Llanera are full sisters, daughters of Canadian National champion ApHC Sonnys Dandy Andrew and one of my first mares, ApHC Forbidn Shoshone. They are easy keepers, good mothers, they gave me bookend silver bay fillies this year that I will keep. Last year's c**ts are in the previous post. They were ultrasounded in foal to my homozygous silver AQHA stallion, LSC Damaso for guaranteed silvers, 75% chance of silver bay, 25% silver chestnut since all three are Ee. They are not broke to ride although I don't think they would be hard to train. PM me for regns if interested. It's a good chance to get the silver genetics into your appy herd from a well bred pair.

The babies from this year's foal crop from LSC Damaso, homozygous silver AQHA (only throws silver bays and silver chestnuts) are all gone but I am letting four of his girlfriends go, all bred to him. There is nothing wrong with them, they are young low maintenance mares and are being replaced in my herd by their Damaso daughters. Two appys, a paint and a Pony of the Americas. I got a nice silver bay maybe dun c**t from my Hollywood Dun It granddaughter. He is Aa Zz and either Ee or EE by pedigree, and the dun I am not sure about not knowing how silver overlaid on dun will play out.
