Ten years ago, Weirdos Market started because a few artist friends didn’t seem to fit anywhere.

Their work wasn’t quite “fine art.”
It wasn’t quite “artisan” truly it was a little … weird.
And there just wasn’t enough places to show it!
Weirdos Market started out of necessity in an empty building and boom... thousand of people showed up! We were ecstatic! 🤸🏻‍♀️

Over the years, we’ve met hundreds of incredible artists. But lately I’ve been thinking about the people who don’t fit our application categories.

The artist with one giant painting.
The installation artist.
The performer.
The person with a project that’s hard to explain.

So we’ve created The Weirdos ‘Other’ Form.

There’s no deadline and no specific opportunity attached to it. (We do have some things brewing for October and beyond though!)

It’s a way for us to get to know more of the creative people in our community, connect and understand some of your needs, as we work on and dream up future projects, events, exhibitions, collaborations, and strange new ideas.

If you’ve ever looked at Weirdos and thought:

“I don’t really fit the application, but I think I belong here.”

This form is for you.

Hey babes, Sorry we’ve been MIA. You know… life and stuff… but we’re back! Miss us??
This year marks 10 years of Weirdos Market. Ten years of artists, oddballs, and friends turning beautiful chaos into tradition.

We’ve always had a soft spot for the late-night makers, the beautifully hard-to-categorize… you know… those artists you develop an immediate friend crush on before you even understand what they make, but you already know they own at least one tiny mysterious pair of scissors and you’d somehow 100% help them move a couch.

If that sounds like you, welcome home.

Weirdos Artist Applications are OPEN. Applications are open till June 25th. (Link in comments)

Apply now. Bring the weird. Bring the hyper-fixations. We can’t wait to see you. xx 🤸🏻‍♀️

Just out here doing highly specific errands that only Weirdos would appreciate.

Picking up some unfinished papier-mâché cherubs from a slightly spooky garage because at we believe some abandoned art projects deserve one more chance to become ICONIC! 🤸🏻‍♀️

We love a second life.
We love a remix.
We love when something weird finds the right home.

These are so good!!! Many thanks to the donor 😘

There are performers… and then there are forces.
If you’ve seen the sword swallower at Weirdos Market, you know what I mean. He’s not only a jaw-droppingly skilled performer (like, literally… sword. down. throat.), but also one of the kindest, sharpest humans I’ve had the privilege of working with. He reads a crowd like a book and holds space like a pro.

Had to share some goodies from our most recent event at featuring none other than Canada’s Greatest Sword Swallower:

PS: If you’re looking to book someone who’ll leave your audience breathless and bring heart and professionalism to your event, this is your guy.

The Weirdening, June 8, 2025 🖤

Hot damn. The sun was spicy that day!! .. but so were your outfits, your energy, and your beautiful weird hearts.

Huge thank you to everyone who showed up and showed out for our first-ever Spring Market Party! You made it magic. 🖤

To our vendors: thank you for enduring the solar onslaught, even though most of you are basically vampires. 😘🧛‍♀️ SPF never looked so good.
Big love to the impeccable DJ for setting the vibe with perfect tunes all day long, and to for bringing the drama and the danger.

Endless gratitude to for hosting us in a space that feels genuinely welcoming. We felt the love, the laughs, and all the good vibes from start to finish.

More photos coming soon, thanks to the amazing . For now, we’re just basking in the afterglow. 🖤

P.S. There were 171 baby doll limbs in the birdcage. (Nick guessed it bang on—he’ll be getting an email soon.)

P.P.S. Artist applications are still open for the Weirdos Holiday Market—closing July 15!

💀 CONTEST TIME 💀

How many doll arms can one 10-year-old cram into a birdcage?
Great question!
I handed Abe a sack of doll limbs from and said, “Have fun!”
This is how we do wholesome family activities at Weirdos headquarters.
Ethically sourced dismemberment. 🖤

Your mission:
Guess how many limbs are in the cage (without going over) and win yourself a prize pack of:
🦴 One (1) ostrich egg
💧 A vial of holy water
🧳 A Weirdos tote bag
🌿 Sage & santal smudges
🎟 Plus two free passes to our 2025 Weirdos Winter Holiday Market!
(Plus a couple more things you’ll have to come to see)!

You must guess in person at The Weirdening — TOMORROW at The Birdhouse. So come find the birdcage. Stare into the void. Make your guess. Win weird stuff! Yay!
