We are reaching out to help find a home for a lovely 42 year old Orange Winged Amazon, Brewster (Bruce). Bruce’s owner has had him for 37 years and sadly has to part with him in October. Bruce has a strong preference for women. He loves listening to music (Frank Sinatra, folk, pop), the vacuum cleaner and watching all the action outside. While his owner refers to him with “he/him” pronouns, Bruce has not been sexed and therefore isn’t confirmed male nor female. Bruce has had some minor aggression issues majorily with men but is otherwise healthy thus far and looking for a loving home where he can get lots of attention. He is fully flighted, but in recent years has not been known to fly much, being a bit reserved to his cage. He can also be very loud when he wants something!
Bruce needs a home by October, so please share and help us find somewhere for him to go. Lots of shelters are full and cannot take him, including our own, so there isn’t many options for this sweet bird.
