Meet Oliver, at 16 years this charming cat is ready to settle into his well-earned retirement. Does anyone have unconditional love to give an old man who enjoys the simple pleasures in life? a cozy bed, a sunny window and gentle affection. Oliver has some old guy health related issues, his heart has a murmur, his kidneys aren’t as good as they used to be, but he still has his great sense of humor, a love for splashing around in his water bowl, a good appetite and a chatty social outlook on life.
Oliver would prefer being the only cat in the kingdom.
If you think you have a soft spot for Oliver to land, please consider coming to meet him.

To conquer loose-leash walking, we need to take it one step at a time, and the very first one is the equipment you use.

Maren Bruun of Paw In Hand shares these three essentials to enjoying a loose-leash walk with your dog.

1️⃣Well-fitted harness: that is comfortable for the dog to wear.
2️⃣Long leash: Remember that it is important that you can safely and effectively handle it.
3️⃣Treat pouch with lots of treats: because there are plenty of things that compete for your attention!

We talk all about loose-leash walking at https://animalkind.ca/all-about-leash-walking/

Meet Franklin! Franklin is a sweet, lovable boy who is ready to meet his forever family! He is a busy guy who is eager to learn. Franklin enjoys snuggling in for cuddles in the midst of his puppy chaos, but he also loves running around with his siblings and chewing on his toys.

Puppies need lots of attention and a safe environment for them to grow into great pets. Like any baby, Franklin is constantly learning. He will need help to learn the rules in a new house, things like, what to play with, where to go to the bathroom, where to sleep to name a few. He’ll need annual health checks with his veterinarian for the rest of his life to keep him in optimum health. Raising a puppy is a big commitment but well worth it when you consider they will be a part of your family for many years!

*Please note: Franklin is in foster care and not available for walk-in meet and greets*

If Franklin sounds like the right fit for your home, please fill in an application below!

*edit: Adoption pending*
Meet Stanley, a stunning young seal point with the sweetest personality once he feels comfortable. At around 6 months old, Stanley can be a little shy at first and may need some time to settle into new surroundings, but once he trusts you, he turns into an absolute lovebug.

Stanley is full of giant purrs, adorable love drool, and dramatic little flops for belly rubs and ear scritches. He absolutely adores affection and quickly transforms from timid observer to full-time cuddle enthusiast.

Because of his sensitive nature, Stanley would likely do best in a quieter, calmer home where he can settle in at his own pace. He may also do well with another friendly cat in the household, given slow and proper introductions.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion with lots of love to give, Stanley may just be your perfect match.
