I have successfully renewed and maintained my CPDT-KA designation!

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻?
CPDT-KA stands for Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?
I had to accumulate a certain amount of training hours, accumulate a certain amount of continuing education, and write an exam.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁?
Anyone can call themself a dog trainer, even if they have no experience or no proper education. The industry is not regulated. So this is a voluntary way for trainers to self-regulate the industry and for dog owners to know that the dog trainer they choose actually knows what they are doing!

- Multi-dog boarding facilities aren't for everyone and can be stressful for some pups. Rest easy knowing your fur baby is being well taken care of in my home.
- Each nightly stay will include plenty of outside time in my large backyard, at least one 30 minute walk, enrichment activities, and endless attention and snuggles from me and my family (a husband, an 8 year old, and a an 11 year old).
- $60/night with multiple dog discounts.
