We offer a wide range of individual and group lesson programs open to riders ages 5 to adult. We can accommodate all skill levels from beginner up to the advanced, competitive rider. Lesson programs are based on Equine Canada’s Learn to Ride national curriculum and are taught by Equine Canada certified Instructors and Coaches. West Wind can administer the rider level testing if riders choose to ob

tain their certification as they progress through the levels. With all of the riding lessons West Wind offers class room/hands on theory classes to educate the riders on horse care, stable management, and riding techniques. West Wind has a variety of school horses available for rent on a per lesson basis ranging in skill level matched to meet the needs of all level of riders. West Wind offers full service boarding in a new facility built to the highest standards with all of the amenities. Your horse will receive top-notch care by dedicated, experienced personnel. By looking after all your horse's day-to-day necessities, we leave the owner with peace of mind. West Wind will also act as a liaison between the veterinarian, farrier, and other professionals that may need to attend to the horse.

👋 My name is ASTRO. I am the newest addition to the West Wind Family.

I arrived a week ago from my previous farm Wild Willow Ranch and Rescue. I am 5 years old, gelding.

I very excited to be here and meet all my new two and four-legged friends. Its a busy place with lots activity each day, and they have shown me so much so far. Each day is a little different, very entertaining. I think I'm going to like my life here alot.

When our spring session wrapped up, we weren’t sure if we’d be able to return this fall. But thanks to the incredible support of our community – through fundraisers, donors, sponsors, and generous foundation grants – we are thrilled to announce that our fall program is happening! 🥳👏

Adaptive riding provides children with disabilities not only joy, confidence, and freedom but also important physical benefits such as improved balance, strength, and coordination.
