Solace is excited to welcome Armand & Birgit Valkenborg to the stable for an educational weekend hosted by

Armand and Birgit have been staples of the Dressage scene in Manitoba for over two decades. Over the years, Valkenhof Dressage has provided working student positions to Manitoba’s young riders, and developed many of them to FEI levels. Armand and Birgit both regularly for clinic all over Canada individually and have began introducing this new educational layout recently.

Team work makes the dream work!

Armand will work with riders for 50 minute sessions, covering every level from Training to Grand Prix, while Birgit (EC Senior Judge) will educate the audience and help them train their eye from a judge’s perspective.

We are very much looking forward to this collaborative learning opportunity!

November 22 & 23 Solace is pleased to welcome Lindsay Stroh for an educational weekend!

Lindsey is a Canadian Grand Prix dressage rider, trainer and Equestrian Canada certified coach, based in Edmonton, Alberta

Lindsey commits to her continued development; she trains and competes in California most winters at Arroyo Del Mar, home of Shannon and Steffen Peters. She puts a priority on her own education to ensure she maintains a high standard in both her riding and coaching.  

Lindsey has been named to the Equestrian Canada High Performance list repeatedly, trained several horses to the FEI level and represented Canada at CDIs in Canada and the US from Young Riders to Grand Prix. In addition, she has obtained a BSC in Kinesiology and certification as a STOTT Pilates instructor giving her a strong understanding of rider biomechanics.
