The Morden Veterinary Clinic has been providing animal care services to the Morden and surrounding areas since the 1950s. Our priority is to provide compassionate and exceptional medicine to all species and a welcoming atmosphere to all who we meet either in clinic or on-farm/house. In conjunction with our 4 other satellite locations, we have established an amazing team of veterinarians, animal he

alth technologists and support staff who value the animal experience and strive to provide the most current medicine. We work closely with many community organizations such as the Morden and Area Community Pound, Feral Feline Fetchers and the Pembina Valley Humane Society to help our stray population find homes or receive medical care. It's tick season! Tick prevention is an important part of your pet's overall health.
Tick prevention is currently recommended for 9 months of the year (Mar - Nov). Ticks become active in our environment when temperatures reach +4 C. There are several effective options available for tick prevention that are oral, topical or newly injectable. Depending on the product that is best for your pet, protection can last 1 month - 1 year. There is also a lyme vaccination available.
