June is Adopt a Cat month and that means it's the purrfect time to adopt Nettie!

This long haired beauty has been waiting for over a month for her new home. She's content hanging out with other cats in her room at the shelter, but she'd love to have more space and of course a little extra attention.

Nettie is 3 years old and can be seen at the shelter this week!

Flynn is ready to show off her new healthy fit as this week's Hearth & Hound Featured Rescue Pet! 🐾

Flynn has been in our care for just over two months and she has come such a long way. She has been incredibly active with our volunteers, and has been fantastic with every dog she's met along the way. While in foster care she also showed us she's great with children, which is a big deal for a girl her size!

Flynn loves car rides, walks, getting dirty, and swimming. She is basically the perfect adventure buddy.

Her adoption fee is only $125 this week and includes a discount at Hearth & Hound and a bag of treats.

We are less than two weeks away from our very first Storybook Tea at the Castle, inspired by Anne of Green Gables! 🌸

A friendly reminder that donations are still being matched up to $1,000 for anyone fundraising on our behalf. Check out the community members who are already rallying their friends and family and help them reach their goal!

There is still time to create your own page too. Raise $100 and your ticket to the evening is on us, plus there's a prize for the person who raises the most. Not a bad deal.

✨ E-Transfer Donation Reminder ✨

E-transfers have become one of our most popular ways to give, and we love it. They're fast, simple, and one of the lowest-cost ways to donate to the shelter.

One small heads-up though: when an e-transfer comes in, the only information we receive is what's shown above. That means if we don't have a way to reach you, we can't get you a tax receipt.

If you're donating by e-transfer, please include your email address in the notes. We'll follow up to grab your mailing address for tax receipt purposes.

No email = no tax receipt.

Thank you to everyone who has been sending donations our way. We know times are tough and we appreciate every single gift! We try our best to reach out to every donor to thank them, but sometimes we miss a few a few. If you haven't heard from us, please know we are incredibly grateful!
