Enrichment is so much more than keeping pets busy—it helps them thrive. 🐾💜

Activities like puzzle feeders, snuffle mats, lick bowls, training games, and scent work encourage natural behaviours, provide mental stimulation, and help reduce boredom. Just like physical exercise, mental exercise is an important part of a pet’s overall well-being.

Every pet is different, which is why I love incorporating enrichment activities that match each pet’s age, personality, and interests. Whether it’s solving a puzzle for dinner or searching for treats hidden in a snuffle mat, enrichment can help build confidence, reduce stress, and create happier pets.

One of the perks of being a pet sitter is that no two days are ever the same. 🐾

Some days involve walks, enrichment, and meal times.

Other days involve watching a Labradoodle “swim” through the couch cushions like it’s an Olympic sport. 🐶😂

Hunter keeps the job interesting, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 💜

Ever wonder what a typical day of pet sitting looks like? 🐾

Every pet is different, but most days include a combination of exercise, meals, enrichment, playtime, cuddles, potty breaks, and plenty of companionship along the way. My goal is always to keep pets comfortable, happy, and as close to their normal routine as possible while their families are away.

From morning walks to evening tuck-ins, it’s a privilege to care for these amazing animals and be part of their day. 💜
