Tick season has begun, and we have already seen two tick specimens brought into the clinic this week. This is a great reminder that ticks are active and pets are at risk.

The photo shown is of one of the ticks that was photographed and submitted to eTick for expert identification.

We recommend ensuring your pets are on appropriate tick prevention and checking them regularly, especially after spending time outdoors.
