5 years ago I took a risk & dove into learning a new skill, which quickly turned into a passion & then a business. Over the past 5 years I have met some of the most incredible humans & their pets, clients have become friends, & their pets have become family. I have grieved the loss of pets who weren’t mine, & found joy in meeting new pups & helping them find comfort in grooming over fear of it.
When I started this pet grooming journey, I never imagined it would have grown into what it is today. Through every rise & fall of every season, my clients always remained consistent & supportive.
Although the last 5 years have been extremely rewarding & life changing for me, the time has come to say goodbye.. maybe not forever, but for now. My life has changed immensely, and I have a different passion calling my name - mama. With a growing family, it is time to say goodbye to grooming & step into a new chapter. With that comes my announcement.. effective today, October 21st, Grooming by Britanny will be closed.

A huge heartfelt thank you to every client who has stepped into my shop & given me grace & patience, especially the last almost 2 years while I’ve had my son at the shop with me. You made it easier to show up everyday, no matter how rough of a night I had, or how fussy my baby was, we made it through! I will miss the monthly chit chats & overall joy each & every one of you brought to the shop everyday.

I have never been one for goodbyes, so this is a see you later. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything ♥️

🐈Volunteers are in Cypress County this week (April 3-6) for a feral cat spay & neuter clinic.

The Canadian Animal Task Force will humanely trap free roaming cats, transporting them to a central location where they will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and treated for parasites.

If you have a cat that goes outside, please keep it inside on these days. Do they hang out at the neighbour's? Talk to your neighbour. The task force won't come to private residences unless invited.

& that’s a wrap on the 2024 grooming year!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your continued support of my little dream, especially this past year as I navigated my new role as a mother as well as a business owner!
Your patience, kindness & cheery smiles when seeing my little guy at the shop helped make this year exactly what it was, nothing short of wonderful!
I will be away for the holidays until January 10th, to enjoy some much needed downtime with my family!

My brothers dog is missing off Holsom Road! He can be timid, but is friendly!

🙂UPDATE:Silla has been found!🐾🐶🐾🥰

Silla (a husky cross) has gone missing from RR21 (north of Irvine/walsh area). He hasn’t been seen since last night and we’re hopeful that he wandered too far, or that someone picked him up (he’s very friendly).
