I am extremely late to the game on this post but felt like Mother Nature said “hold my beer…watch this” with the hurricane-ish like weather last weekend at the Pacific Regional Dressage Chamionships at Tbird. Super proud of the Hirkala dressage team!!! Everyone did well especially considering the weather- Dorit debuted at Fourth level, Erika rocked her First level tests as did Sarai at Second level. Josie got First Level Open Reserve Champion at her second show ever despite having the ring blow over twice in her test…what a good girl. We had a blast and shared a lot of laughs AND I have photographic proof Kris does actually leave the farm albeit it is like finding Bigfoot in being an extremely rare event 🤣.

Driving back from the Pacific Regional Dressage Championships held at the beautiful Thunderbird Show Park . What a fantastic show that Ali, Sarah and all the volunteers put on thank you very much!! The Hirkala Dressage team had a great showing with Dorit getting solid scores in her Third levels tests and getting an 8.0 for her changes 👍, Karla and Cooper rode the FEI small tour getting great scores but also getting the comment of lovely changes from FEI judge Hilda Gurney 💕, Kristin has done a great job developing her young, elegant mare Wren making a challenging horse look easy and getting some great scores at first level, Linda piloted her Casanova (aka Ninja) laying down some great first level tests 🤩, Jenna and I overcame the curse of the tempis from friday to end with a clean test and a 68 and change for a 2nd, and the stunning liver chestnut Casper won Second Level Open Champion getting 2 scores of 69+....good boy buddy!!! Big thank you to Leslie Reid for all your coaching and advice...very grateful. Thank you so much to Custom Saddlery, Saddlefit Canada and Pioneer horseline for making me and the horses comfortable aaaand fashionable. 😁 @ Thunderbird Show Park
