In the hustle of running a business and chasing down life’s never-ending to-do list, there’s one meeting I never miss—daily hangouts with my dog, Chopstick.

Whether we’re walking around town, playing tug-of-war like it’s a contact sport, or just soaking up some sun on the deck, Chopstick reminds me what it means to be present, loyal, and unapologetically goofy.

He’s not just my sidekick—he’s the four-legged CEO of joy in my life. Rescuing him was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. He rescued me right back—with tail wags, patience, and the occasional muddy paw print on my clean pants.
