Say hi to Gus a handsome orange tabby kitten we had the pleasure to meet today.

Here's a fun fact about orange kitties:

Have you ever noticed that most of the orange cats you meet are male? That’s not a coincidence. It’s a result of how the orange color gene works. It lives on the X chromosome.

Male cats have one X and one Y, so if their X carries the orange gene, they turn out orange. Female cats have two Xs, which means they need the orange gene on both to show the color. That’s why male orange cats are so much more common. If you’ve got a girl with that ginger coat, she’s a little rarer than most.🐈🐈🐈

Just put together a $300 value dog gift basket for the silent auction at the 18th Annual Rocton Lion's Club fish fry fundraiser!

This will be held on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beverly Community Centre. The event will raise funds for the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides and other community projects.

Our basket contains various dog products including, a kong toy with peanut butter stuffing, CET dental chews, Dental water additive, joint supplements, a large halti, oatmeal shampoo and conditioner, Benny Bully's, Ubavet p**p bags, Ubavet dental kit, and doggie towel!
