VetWell Waterdown Animal Hospital is proud to host a Canine Blood Donor Clinic on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Every day, dogs across Canada require life-saving blood transfusions due to illness, surgery, trauma, and emergency care. Just one blood donation can help save up to three dogs’ lives.

Dogs participating in the donor program may receive:

🐾 Complimentary testing for blood-borne diseases & heartworm
🐾 Free microchip identification
🐾 Blood donor bandana & tag
🐾 Milestone donor tags every 5 donations
🐾 A complimentary blood product should they ever need one in the future

Your dog may be eligible to donate if they are:

✔ Between 1–8 years old
✔ Over 55 lbs (25 kg)
✔ Up to date on vaccinations
✔ Even-tempered and in good health
✔ Motivated by treats
