📣 In light of Delta's success being the pet of the week for a second time, we're hoping to repeat that! this week our friends at would like to highlight Little Foot again📣
🎄With Delta home for the holidays, our hearts are full but there’s one big, stubborn, beautiful soul still waiting for his perfect match. He urgently needs the right home, especially as we head through our first bitter cold winter days.
🐾 Little Foot is a giant guardian-breed dog through and through.
There are only 2 places he ever wants to be right beside you or outside guarding.
❄ He carries over 100 lbs of loyalty, instinct, and purpose. Because of his size and guardian nature, Little Foot stays in one of only two private outdoor suites—spaces usually reserved for unsafe dogs. But Little Foot isn’t dangerous; he just has big needs. Until recently, he had near-constant access to his outdoor yard through a guillotine door. Now, extreme winter cold means the door can’t stay open: leave it open and other dogs freeze, close it and Little Foot is left without shelter. Each night, staff try to coax him inside for his safety… and each night he outsmarts them. He falls for every trick only once.
Little Foot needs:
🌨️ A home that respects his guardian nature with outdoor access
🏡 Someone who can let him in and out before bed OR...a property with an insulated garage, shed, barn, or safe outdoor structure he can sleep in
🚫🐈 No Cats
💕 Despite his size and instincts, Little Foot is not aggressive — in fact, he’s playful with other dogs and would likely do well with a calm, thoughtful introduction. He’s loyal, snuggly, loving, and happiest when he has a job and a person to bond with and he does secretly love comfort: warm blankets, plush beds, stuffed animals to tend.
If you have the space, patience, property, and a heart big enough for a guardian like Little Foot… he is so ready to go home for the holidays. Little Foot deserves a home where his instincts aren’t a problem - they’re a *purpose*.
🐾 They will be offering a special rate for his adoption.
