Meet Nellie! She is available for adoption through the Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter!

Here's a little about her:

Nellie is a 9-month-old mixed breed with a wiggly, joyful personality that’s sure to make you smile. She absolutely loves to run and play, and her happy energy shines brightest when she’s having fun with her dog friends. Nellie has already made a few pals here, showing she could be a wonderful addition to a home with another dog who can match her playful spirit. She has not been tested with cats.

While Nellie is full of life once she’s comfortable, she can be quite shy when meeting new people. She’ll need patient, gentle introductions and a bit of time to build trust—but once she does, her sweet and playful nature really comes through.

Nellie is still learning her basic manners, so she’ll benefit from some continued training and guidance as she grows. With consistency and love, she has all the potential to become a well-rounded companion.

If you’re looking for an active, affectionate dog to join you on walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures, Nellie could be your perfect match. She’s ready to find a home where she can keep learning, playing, and blossoming into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.

Meet Ariel! 🧜‍♀️

She is available for adoption through the Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter! Here's a little bit about her!

"Ariel is a 2-year-old bulldog mix bursting with young, spunky energy and a personality that’s impossible not to love. When she first arrived, she was scared, underweight, and in rough shape—but with time, care, and patience, she’s truly come into her own.

Now at roughly 70 pounds, Ariel’s silly and playful nature shines through every day. She loves to have fun, whether it’s goofing around with her favorite people or enjoying playtime with other dogs. In fact, she’s had great interactions with her canine friends here, which means she could make a wonderful addition to a home that already has a dog.

Ariel hasn’t been tested with cats yet, so a slow and careful introduction would be needed if you have feline companions.
This energetic girl is still learning her manners and will need an owner who can provide structure and guidance. Ariel would thrive with someone who can offer a firm, consistent hand to help her build impulse control and continue growing into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.
