Tanya’s giving Jack all the right scratches! Did you know that frequent itching in dogs can signal more than just a need for attention? 🐾
Excessive scratching can be caused by:
🔹 Fleas or mites
🔹 Food or environmental allergies
🔹 Dry skin (often from weather or bathing too often)
🔹 Skin infections (bacterial or fungal)
While a good scratch feels great, it’s important to watch for signs like redness, hair loss, or constant licking. If your dog is scratching more than usual, consult your vet to get to the root cause. Scratching should be soothing, not constant!” 🐶🩺
