November is Pet Diabetes Month! 🐾

Just like people, dogs and cats can develop diabetes, when their body does not make enough insulin, or does not use it properly.

Watch for these signs: drinking a lot more water, urinating more often or having accidents in the house, eating more but losing weight, and feeling tired and less active. In dogs, cloudy eyes can also be a sign.

If you notice any of these signs, bring your pet in — a simple blood test can help us check. Diabetes cannot be cured, but it can be managed, and with the right care, food, and regular checkups, your pet can still live a happy life. 🧡

Happy Halloween, but keep it safe for your pets! 🎃

Chocolate is toxic to dogs and cats, and the darker it is, the more dangerous. Watch for vomiting, diarrhea, a racing or irregular heartbeat, even seizures.
Sugar-free candy and gum with xylitol can crash your dog's blood sugar to life-threatening levels.

Costumes are fun only if your pet is relaxed: skip masks and anything tight.
Swap real candles for flameless ones.

If your pet eats something they should not, call us right away. 🧡
