Dynamo Dogsports

Dynamo Dogsports (https://dogsport.org) was founded in 2010 by a group of people who loved their dog

The Dynamo Dogsport Allstar Entertainment group highlights our most talented dogs and owners, who love to entertain the crowds with their speed, enthusiasm, and antics. We are always looking for new opportunities for our talented canines to showcase their abilities in our Dynamo Dog performances. In our Dynamo Dog competitions the fast flowing courses are fun to watch and fun to play with both Grand Prix courses and Circular Chase (two dogs running head to head over a course with tunnels and jumps). In our competitions there is also a Frisbee and High Jumping event, for those who want to test their dogs against both minimum standards and the best in the country. The fast paced Tunnel Relay event allows 3 dog teams to have fun racing against other teams, and against the clock, to try to win the competition, break the record for fastest team time, and/or garner points toward titles. All of our events are designed to be fun to play AND fun to watch... but always remember that as much as they love to entertain the crowds, first and foremost, our dogs are our companions, our friends, and our family.

Congrats to all of those who earned titles at our Dynamo Dogsport Trial. I have seen lots of posts with their title rosettes so nice to see so much success. Certainly part of the credit goes to the really nice courses from Sherry Taylor and Shawna Oliver!

As always thanks to EVERYONE who came out to play at the trial, it is so much more fun with more dogs to watch and people to socialize with! :-) And for those who continue to step in and do more volunteering to help keep things moving... you know who you are... THANKS!

Hope to see you at the next one!

Thanks so much to all those who came out to our CKC trial last weekend. Our main judge was Tracey Mallinson and as always she is a pleasure to have at our trials... also judging some of the rounds, Meaghan O'Neill and Seanna ONeill, and we had some nice courses designed by Carole Cote and Kirsten Locke just to mix things up a bit. Lots of competitors who did lots of volunteering, AND we got Tracey to the plane on time! :-)
Congrats to all of those who earned titles! and all of those who had fun running with their dog regardless :-)

So we were approached by a lot of people during regionals saying that they hoped we would do it again next year, because they loved the space in the event, etc..

We said that we had been waiting to see if there was a bid from the south region, to see if people would rather travel there next year.

But there has not been a bid so far. And when we went to wrap up the event with the facility folks, they said that they had put next year on hold for us, in case we wanted to do it again. But they needed to know fairly quickly whether or not to continue to hold the dates, or to open them up, if we were not going to run an event.

So my question is, does anyone know if a southern club is planning to put in a bid? If not, then we will put in a bid to replicate this year’s regionals in the same facility next year on the same dates… (the facility is very booked up, so the only reason we have the opportunity to book is because they saved the weekend for us. So there is no flexibility in the dates.)

If anyone knows of a bid in the works, please let us know ASAP and we can tell them to release the space. Otherwise we will start planning 🙂.

Thanks!
