Check out my latest pastel artwork… something a little different! 🎨✨
It’s titled “There is One in Every Family.” 🐑
This is a triptych pastel painting of a Valais Blacknose sheep—an idea inspired by a loved one that was so much fun to bring to life. I’m loving how the three panels work together to expand the landscape, while keeping that one main-character sheep staring right at the viewer! 👁️🌾

Meet “Lulu”, a recent cat pet portrait commission completed as a fundraiser for Womancare Pregnancy Centre earlier this year. The portrait, a 10” x 10” size, is completed using pastel.

I love bringing pets and animals to life on paper, capturing every detail—from the realistic depth and soul in their eyes to the soft texture of their fur—to truly honor the unique spirit of your beloved companion.

I am currently taking bookings for fall and winter commissions. I only complete 2-3 a year, so book now, especially if you want it completed for Christmas. Head to my website for more information.

Thank you to all visitors who came out to this year’s Art Studio Tour to visit me and the other artists at studio #2 in the South Bonson Community Centre.

It was a wonderful time sharing about my art and how I create. It brings me such joy seeing some of my pieces going to new homes.

Only one week ago before this year‘s Maple Ridge Art Studio Tour! Come and visit local artists and see some fascinating art. Maybe you’ll take something home! 😃

I’ll be showing my art, along with nine other artists, at Studio #2. Look for the Art Studio Tour signs!

The art cards are ready to go. I’ve got prints of some of my artwork, and original artwork of my 2 feature pieces, “Afternoon Nap”, an 11” x 14” red panda, and, “Mighty”, a 16” x 22” silverback gorilla.

When: Saturday, May 9 & Sunday, May 10
Where: South Bonson Community Centre
