Because technically… yes… I know the command.

BUT…

Before I respond, I must consider:
✔️ Is there a squirrel? 🐿️
✔️ Are there snacks involved? 🍪
✔️ Is this worth my time?
✔️ Am I currently doing something more important?

This is what we call… decision making.

Now… if you:
👉 Make it worth my while
👉 Are consistent
👉 Actually mean it when you say it

Then… MAYBE…

I will choose to participate.

Otherwise…
I will pretend I didn’t hear you.

🐾🎤 CHAOS ASKS THE DOGS 🎤🐾

Today's question:

"How good are YOU at staying still when your humans need to help you?" 🤔🐾

"So yesterday, I had a very important job in Dawson City, Yukon.

No, it wasn't swimming.
No, it wasn't treasure hunting.
No, it wasn't supervising wildlife.

I was helping humans learn how to take care of dogs in an emergency during the Canine Health Canada K9 CPR & Emergency First Aid Course. ❤️🐾

And let me tell you...

When humans are learning things like:
✔️ First aid assessments
✔️ Bandaging
✔️ Muzzle conditioning
✔️ Handling injured dogs safely
✔️ CPR & emergency response

It helps A LOT when dogs are comfortable being touched, examined, and handled.

💡 Chaos Tip:
Practicing treatment handling BEFORE an emergency can make a huge difference.

Things like:
🐾 Looking at paws
👂 Checking ears
🦷 Looking at teeth
🩺 Feeling different parts of the body
🧣 Getting comfortable with wraps, bandages, or muzzles

The more we practice, the less scary it becomes if we ever truly need it.

And honestly...
I was pretty amazing at my job yesterday. 😌

Your dogs are lucky to have humans who care enough to learn these life-saving skills. 👏
