🐮🤎 Welcome to the Ranch, Orion! 🤎🐮

We’re excited to introduce the newest member of the Wells Gray Guest Ranch family — Orion, born just a few days ago right here on the ranch! 🌲

His proud mom, Gemma, has been keeping a close eye on her little Highland calf as he takes his first steps, explores the pasture, and discovers his new home in the heart of Wells Gray.

With his fluffy coat, curious personality, and those adorable little Highland features, Orion has already become a favourite among guests and staff alike. 🤠

One of the things we love most about ranch life is being able to witness moments like these. From newborn calves and foals to horses, alpacas, ponies, and our petting farm animals, there’s always something special happening around the ranch.

If you’re visiting this summer, make sure to stop by and say hello to Gemma and little Orion. Just be warned — you may fall in love with him as quickly as we did! ❤️

🌅🤠 A Rainy Day Comes to a Beautiful End at Wells Gray Guest Ranch 🤠🌅

The rain may have visited us today, but it certainly gave us a spectacular farewell.

As the clouds cleared over the ranch this evening, the sky lit up in shades of orange, red, and gold above the Chuckwagon Beer Garden and wagon seating area. Moments like these remind us why we love life in Wells Gray. 🌲🐴

A big thank you to everyone who joined us tonight for Fish Fry Friday at the Black Horse Saloon. We loved sharing another great evening of good food, good company, and western hospitality with guests and locals alike.

Tomorrow we’re back with another delicious ranch-style dinner, drinks in the saloon, and hopefully another beautiful Wells Gray sunset.

Whether you’re staying with us, camping nearby, or simply exploring the park, you’re always welcome to stop by for dinner, a drink, or just to enjoy the view.
