✨✨Big news✨✨
After months of planning, building and preparing, we are almost at the finish line!

We are thrilled to share that we will be opening in JANUARY!

There are still a few details to wrap up, supplies to be ordered, and the official go ahead from the College of BC Veterinarians, but the end is in sight!

In the mean time, if you are interested in joining our appointment waitlist you can email us at:

Please include your information (name, address, email, and phone) and pet information (name, breed, colour, birth date) and any previous medical records. Please indicate what appointment you are interested in booking (ie vaccines, checkup, spay/neuter etc). We will contact you to book your appointment once we have college approval and are ready to take bookings!

December appointments are officially full! Thank you so much to my beautiful customers and their humans! 😉

I'm at the shop this evening (December 5th) until 8pm if anyone would like a last minute nail clip, paw pad trim, or hygiene cleanup. Gift certificates also available and Christmas bandanas, collars, and stockings from Homestyle Creations.

I'll also be at Bosley's clipping nails by donation to the Clearwater Humane Society on December 27th from 10:00-12:00.

Heads up!
We have been seeing a lot of injury to dogs over the past month due to embedded grass seeds in the skin. Make sure to check your pet, especially after walks in tall dry grass and especially if your dog has a dense or compacted coat. Between toes, in the flank and around ge****ls, armpits, tails and bottoms.

We have also had several dogs sprayed by skunks. They seem to be out and roaming about right now so be wary of that as well. If it happens to you, wipe off as much of the spray as possible with an old towel before attempting to wet your pet or it may become worse and harder to remove!

If it's too late and you've already found your pet in either of these situations, call us! We can help!

You may notice some new faces around the shop! We appreciate your continued patience and loyalty as we go through the training process.
On that note, we are seeking some more simple grooms in the coming weeks to start our new hires off easy. Do you have a stinky lab who's been swimming all summer and needs a freshen up? A bath and brush before company comes for the long weekend? A pup that seems to be having a second summer shed due to the crazy weather?
