BC SPCA West Kootenay The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting vulnerable animals and mobilizing communities so animals and people thrive together.

At the BC SPCA’s All About Animals Camp, kids ages 8–12 dive into a week of awesome games, hands-on projects, outdoor adventures, and inspiring guest speakers—all while discovering the challenges animals of all kinds face in our communities. From buzzing bees to clever crows to our animal centre guests, campers explore what different creatures need to thrive and how their compassion can make a real difference! Expect laughter, creativity, teamwork, and a chance to become champions for animals of every kind—furry, feathered, finned, and everything in between!

1️⃣Well-fitted harness: that is comfortable for the dog to wear.
2️⃣Long leash: Remember that it is important that you can safely and effectively handle it.

*URGENT NEED for donations of dry and wet cat and dog food *

Calling all animal lovers in our community! Right now, there are beloved pets going to sleep with empty bowls, and the families who love them are doing everything they can to make ends meet. Through our Pet Food Bank Program, we help make sure no pet is left behind simply because times are tough… but we can’t do it without you.

We are urgently looking for donations of dry and wet cat and dog food to help support hungry pets right here in our community. Every bag or can you give goes directly back into the community, helping families keep their cherished companions fed, comforted, and at home where they belong.

Your kindness reaches far beyond one animal.
These donations support:
• Local pet food bank events
• Community partners like food banks
• Supportive housing programs
• Family and women’s centres
