While most dogs that become infected with Lyme Disease from a tick do not get sick, disease and symptoms still do occur. Take a look at the most common signs associated with Lyme Disease. If you are concerned about any symptoms, give us a call. Prevention is the best strategy, so make sure your dog is on preventive tick medication.

We have been experiencing lots of reports of bats in the area. 🦇🐾

If you see any bats roosting in open areas, please do not touch them, do not harass them and give them some space!

If you notice one up high where your pets and children cannot reach them, please note they will likely fly away at night or even after a few days so letting them hang out is OK.

If your pet comes into contact with a bat, please call your Veterinary clinic and they can assist you.

Ashlyn our lead Registered Technician was lucky enough to travel to South Africa with Livingstone Experience & Worldwide Vets back in May! She worked closely with Sables, Cape Buffalos, Impalas and more! She was even able to see giraffes, elephants and rhinos...oh my!🦏🦒🐘 (please note all animals are sedated and comfortable for exams & treatments)

The Livingstone Experience is for those who are passionate about animals & show an interest in Veterinary Medicine. This amazing program offers valuable hands-on experience with amazing African Wildlife species and so much more!
