Earlier this month, Hair of the Dawg visited our Blue Barn Castlegar location to offer $10 nail trims for pets, and together we raised $250! ✂️🐶🐱

All proceeds will be donated to local rescues and community groups.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the event, and a big thank you to Hair of the Dawg for partnering with us and giving back to the community. 💙

🥹🥹We are already BLOWN AWAY by our wonderful community. Less than an hour and we have trimmed nails steadily already. Thank you all and can't wait to see those still coming out later today 🤗🤗

Little miss Chloe came in for her first professional grooming since being rescued from Mexico! Her mom has been doing a wonderful job desensitizing her to the process at home and she handled it like an expert! Thanks for letting us have some fun 😄❤️

We want to shout a big heart-warming THANK YOU to all of you who helped us raise funds to send to The Sula Society to help homeless dogs in Puerto Vallarta!

From our start of fundraising in August 2025 with our first silent auction to the end of the year, we raised 🎉🎉🎉SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS💰💰💵💵 PLUS 5 tubs of donated supplies!!! WOWZA 🤩🤩🤩

AND TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS from our Boxing Day Nail clinic! HOLY MOLY
