Meet Pico 🐱💙
Pico came in for routine annual bloodwork, and one of his cardiac markers was elevated, even though it had been normal in previous years.
Because of this change, an echocardiogram was recommended, and Pico was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), a common form of heart disease in cats.
Cats are very good at hiding illness, which is why routine wellness testing can be so important. Detecting changes early allows us to monitor conditions sooner and help pets receive the care they need.
We’re so proud of Pico for being such a brave patient! 🩺
