This sweet girl had a big surgery last week to remove several bladder stones ❤️‍🩹

Bladder stones in dogs & cats (also called uroliths or urinary calculi) are hard mineral formations that develop in the bladder. They can range from tiny grains to large, painful stones and may cause discomfort, urinary issues, or even serious blockages if untreated.

Diagnosis is usually achieved by a combination of urinalysis and x-rays. Some stones can be dissolved with prescription foods while others require surgical removal.

Lulu had all of her stones surgically removed and is recovering well ❤️‍🩹
