French Bulldogs are adorable, but their lovable squishy faces come with challenges. Today, we’re shedding light on two important surgeries that significantly improve their quality of life: Stenotic Nares Correction and Skin Fold Surgery.

👃 Stenotic Nares Surgery:
Many flat-faced (brachycephalic) breeds suffer from narrow nostrils, making every breath a struggle. This procedure widens the nostrils, allowing for easier airflow and reducing snorting, snoring, and exercise intolerance. Our little patient can finally breathe freely!

🧼 Skin Fold Surgery:
Those deep facial folds can trap moisture and bacteria, leading to chronic infections and discomfort. Surgical correction removes excess folds, reducing irritation and improving hygiene — all while preserving that adorable Frenchie look.

Findings revealed a fractured and compromised maxillary canine with periapical radiolucency, indicating chronic infection.

🔍 Type of Extraction:
Surgical Flap Extraction
This technique was chosen due to:
