🎄✨ ’Twas the night before Christmas… ✨🎄
…and all through the house, not a creature was stirring — except sweet Dolly, snoozing in her jammies and dreaming of a home of her very own 💤🐾

Sanders has recently found out that holidays are spent with the ones you love. So, he would like to let you know that he’s very interested in this idea and that he’s still adoptable. 😻
Not only does he have big toes (he’s polydactyl- peep his extra beans!), but he has a big heart. He’s a very handsome, sweet boy.
Why not come meet him and see if you could love him? ‘Tis the season to fill your home with love! ❤️💚😽❄️
Happy Tuesday everybody! The cats and kittens from The Brandon Humane Society are all like 'Hey, get our pics ready already!' and want to send out some purr-fect Christmas cheer 🎄🐾. They're also dropping a hint that they're adorable bundles of fur and would love to snuggle up in your heart as your new BFFs forever ♥️

The Brandon Humane Society has been in operation since 1946 when it was founded by Eleanor Kidd. She originally housed the Shelter in her garage on 13th Street, then in an abandoned stable near Empress Bay, and later in an old barn near the riverbank where Eleanor Kidd Gardens are now located.
In 1997, the Shelter moved to its new premise at 2200 17th Street East. These days, our residents - both cats and dogs - live in a building with heat and air conditioning , two large exercise yards, an enclosed cat patio, and kennels for approximately 30 cats and 30 dogs at any one time. When our kennels are full our dedicated volunteers foster animals in their homes.
Since we are a NO KILL Shelter, the atmosphere is very positive...our animals are loved and well cared for as they wait to be adopted. We invite you to come and visit to see for yourselves.
Staff and Volunteers
The Shelter Manager/Director is Tracy Munn who has been a dedicated leader ensuring the operations are carried out holding the best interest of the animals in highest regard since 1997. The Assistant Manager is Jillian Blyth who has held this position starting in August 2016 but has been a regular volunteer since 2005.
The Shelter has a wonderful and dedicated pool of approximately 70 volunteers who all play an important part carrying out the regular tasks needed to care for the animals. Our volunteers also organize many of fundraising activities and special events.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please stop by the Shelter to pick up an application.
Board of Directors

VICE PRESIDENT: Ken Pettapiece
TREASURER: Bonnie Hertzog
FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR: Jenny Chatt
