Meet Koda Bear 🐻🤍
Five-year-old Great Pyrenees Koda Bear is looking for a very special home where she can truly thrive.
Koda is happiest when she has lots of space to roam and explore. Once she’s comfortable in her surroundings, she loves being outdoors, rolling through long grass, enjoying the rain, and curling up in cozy, safe spaces. While she may take some time to warm up, once you’ve earned her trust, she is an incredibly loving and loyal companion.
Koda has resource guarding and food aggression, so she will need an experienced adopter who understands the Great Pyrenees breed and is committed to providing patience, calm energy, and slow, thoughtful introductions to her new life. She needs time to decompress and build trust in new environments, and that process should never be rushed.
She would do well with older, respectful children and is generally good with cats. She struggles with stairs, so a home with few or no stairs would be ideal. She’s also a bit of a picky eater—but offer her meat, cheese, or treats, and you’ll quickly become one of her favorite people!
