A huge thank you to the DOT for their response to a single request for additional signage at Brier Equestrian and Wellness Centre and along Fenwick's winding roads. Of all who know us and where we are located, there is a sharp turn just beyond our driveways. The driveways to which our barn crew cross on horse back to access the many trails. Luckily the drivers that have spun off the road around this turn in the winter and those that speed along this road and off the road not able to commit to the turn, have not been seriously hurt. Amongst these worries is the safety of our barn crew and their beloved animals, that on horseback, cross this road just beyond a blind sharp turn and in any instances vehicles may not see them until....well let's not even think of that.
I send out this huge appreciation to the crew that approved this request and for those that acted quickly to help us maintain a safer environment for our boarders, our horses, our community and drivers. Stay Safe All.
