🚨 Rocky View County is warning residents and landowners to watch for black henbane, also known as stinking nightshade.

The plant is designated as a noxious w**d under Alberta’s W**d Control Act, meaning landowners are legally required to control its spread.

The county says black henbane can be toxic to humans and animals if ingested, and it can remain poisonous even when dried.

Anyone who believes they have found black henbane should avoid handling it without protective clothing and report the location to the appropriate municipality or landowner.
