While summer brings sunshine and outdoor fun, it also means keeping an extra eye out for foxtails—a serious hazard for your pup. These barbed grass seeds can cause irritation, infection, or worse if they become embedded.

✅ Check your pup’s paws and body for swelling, licking, or fur loss
✅ Check eyes, ears, nose, and mouth for discharge or irritation
✅ Avoid tall grass and brush your dog after each outdoor walk
